We are seeking a Commercial Property Claims Consultant experienced with high value large loss to work for a highly regarded international insurance organisation. This organisation is a trusted provider within the insurance field holding a strong and stable position in the current market. You will join a team of high performing professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment where you will be responsible for managing a complex portfolio.

In this role your duties will include –

• Management of a portfolio of high value large loss commercial property claims running into the tens of millions.
• Determine the nature of the loss and coverage provided, then effectively negotiate, and investigate each claim while communicating with all relevant parties.
• Provide advice on coverage.
• Proactively drive claim progress.
• Interpret policy wording and review of circumstance to ensure coverage is maximised.
• Provide structured claim solutions.
• Liaise with clients, external service providers and other insurance organisations.

Essential requirements –

• Proven history of effectively managing a portfolio of high value commercial property claims.
• Strong understanding of complex and potentially litigated claims matters.
• Effective communication, negotiation, dispute resolution and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to build a strong rapport with service providers and customers.
• Confident in your ability to effectively manage the claims process and all relevant parties.
• Ability to take ownership while working to tight deadlines.
