Lead the Charge for Change – Join Us as a Lived and Living Experience (LLE) Consultant
- Full-time or Part-time (0.8 – 1FTE) ongoing position available

- $120,000 - $140,000pa + 11% Super + Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550
About the role

As the Lived and Living Experience (LLE) Consultant, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping and expanding the LLE workforce nationwide. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic, compassionate team and promote Lived Experience perspectives across our services.

As the LLE Consultant, you’ll be instrumental in:
- Be a Leader of Change by driving the LLE Strategic Plan (2024-2028).
- Leading and mentoring the LLE team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support for both staff and program development.
- Developing training for MHAOD teams, promoting Lived Experience insights across services.
- Managing the Peer Cadet Program, providing vital mentorship to new Peer Support Workers.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders to promote and expand LLE initiatives.
- Fostering a culture of inclusion, while ensuring staff receive top-notch training and peer supervision to support their growth.

Who we are looking for
We’re looking for someone with demonstratable leadership experience and a personal lived experience of mental health recovery. Your journey will have equipped you with the empathy, leadership, and resilience needed to support others in similar situations.
We’re seeking someone with:
- Proven leadership experience and a personal lived experience of mental health recovery.
- Empathy, resilience, and the ability to support others in their recovery journeys.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to listen, resolve conflict, and lead by example.
- A self-aware, reflective leader who continuously seeks improvement and adapts to new challenges.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work autonomously to achieve results.

Qualifications
- Relevant degree level qualification and/or equivalent experience.
- Cert IV in Mental Health Peer Work or equivalent.
Completion of a Criminal History Check and Employee Working With Children Check prior to commencement of employment and as required by legislation and policy during employment, as well as a duty to disclose relevant information that may arise after employment has commenced.
