We are a fast-growing small business with 50% growth in 2023 and 2024, expecting the same in 2025. We are excited by this growth and are looking for someone to join our Operations team as a Team Leader.

We are a second-generation family business with 16+ years’ experience in safe and effective mould remediation, restoration, and sanitisation solutions. Our innovative solutions protect people, property, and brand reputations in places where people live, work and play. As a result, we have attracted a diverse client list, including homeowners, real estate agencies, builders, food manufacturers, animal hospitals, community housing organisations and commercial businesses.

Your New Role

This is a permanent, full-time role that involves managing jobs in the field from start to finish.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will represent Nanotise at client sites across Greater Sydney, completing mould remediation, restoration, and sanitisation jobs per a detailed Statement of Work. This hands-on role is varied, with staff management and customer engagement being key to success.

Key responsibilities include:

• Understand and implement a SOW (Statement of Work) in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Undertake mould remediation and/or restoration using advanced equipment and cleaning techniques, and implement structural drying where required
• Perform small scale demolition work (e.g., cabinet strip outs, carpet removal)
• Manage casual staff as required for individual jobs
• Anticipate and report issues to management
• Ensure work is performed to standard, and deliver quality customer service
• Document completed work using Nanotise’s online CRM system
• Maintain safe work practices on site (training provided)

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. You’ll be hungry for added responsibility, knowing that your contribution makes a difference to your customers and to your colleagues, every day. This is an autonomous role with significant responsibility - 'bludgers’ and time wasters should not apply!

Ideally, you’ll have something like the following:

• 3+ years’ practical experience in a hands-on operational role (e.g., tradie apprentice ready to advance, technician, labouring, restoration, building, cleaning, sanitisation, mould remediation)
• Experience in independently adhering to and implementing a SOW (Statement of Work)
• Ability to hit the ground running in terms of managing casual staff and a job from start to finish
• Experience with hand tools (ideal)
• Confident and professional manner, with excellent English verbal skills
• Practical ‘can do’ attitude, willingness to learn and 100% trustworthy
• Physically fit, able to lift and carry 20kgs with ease
• Electronic reporting skills (e.g., use of iPad, Field Service Mobile App)
• Have a clean NSW driver’s licence
• Possess a current White Card (or be willing to obtain one)
• Willing to obtain a Working with Children’s Check and current Police Check
• Australian permanent residency or Australian citizenship
