About the position
An opportunity is available for a People and Culture Advisor to join our team on a parental relief contract to 30 June 2026. As a People and Culture Advisor you will provide support across all aspects of the employment lifecycle to managers and employees. You will be the first point of contact for People and Culture enquiries and will be involved in a variety of activities including recruitment and onboarding, contract and payroll administration, training, WHS, policies and projects. Our People and Culture Team aims to help our people perform at their best. You will be a strong communicator, committed to customer service and able to develop positive working relationships with all people. We are looking for someone with:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or combination of relevant training and experience
- Experience in HR including sound knowledge of current HR practice
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant employment legislation including industrial relations, equal opportunity and work health and safety and the ability to interpret Awards
- High level organisational and administrative skills including the ability to work flexibly, manage multiple priorities and attention to detail to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
Based in Wollongong, this is a full-time, parental leave relief position to 30 June 2026. Part-time hours will be considered with a minimum 30 hours per week. Occasional travel to our hub offices will be required. Why join GPH?
