Our client, a prominent government department responsible for infrastructure services, is seeking an experienced Change Manager to lead critical change initiatives as part of a large-scale digital transformation project. This role will support the delivery of key strategic projects aimed at modernising operations and improving the efficiency of services provided across schools, early childhood services, and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Change Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies that align with organisational goals. Create detailed plans, timelines, and budgets while proactively identifying and addressing risks.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders across multiple teams, including senior leadership and frontline staff, ensuring their concerns are heard and addressed.
- Training & Communication: Develop and execute communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed throughout the change process. Coordinate training programmes to ensure staff are equipped to handle changes effectively.
- Change Implementation & Monitoring: Lead the execution of change initiatives, track progress, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
- Resistance Management: Identify potential resistance points and collaborate with leaders to manage and mitigate opposition to change.
- Evaluation & Reporting: Establish KPIs and other metrics to assess the success of change initiatives. Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders, recommending improvements based on feedback.
About You:
- You have proven experience in change management or business transformation, ideally with certification in change management methodologies such as Prosci or ADKAR.
- You possess strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels within an organisation.
- You are a proactive and hands-on leader, capable of managing through influence and inspiring change.
- Your excellent communication skills allow you to simplify complex ideas and present them clearly to various audiences.
- You have a growth mindset, thrive in a dynamic environment, and are committed to driving continuous improvement.
