Organisational Change Manager – Government Transformation Project
The Company

A Queensland Government agency is undergoing a major transformation following a recent MOG change. They seek an experienced Organisational Change Manager to drive change adoption, stakeholder engagement, and business process alignment.

The Role

This hands-on role requires an autonomous professional to develop and execute change strategies, create training and communication materials, and engage stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a structured change management strategy (Prosci/ADKAR).
• Engage stakeholders and manage communication to align with transition goals.
• Conduct Business Change Impact Assessments and tailor responses.
• Create and deliver training materials, workshops, and user guides.
• Establish and lead a Change Champion Network to embed cultural and procedural shifts.
• Identify and mitigate risks to change adoption.
• Monitor and report on progress, adapting strategies as needed.
• Facilitate sessions to guide employees through payroll, ICT, and process changes.

Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years in Change Management, preferably within Queensland Government.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end change initiatives independently.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influence skills.
• Experience creating training and communication materials from scratch.
• Expertise in Prosci/ADKAR or equivalent frameworks.
• Workshop facilitation, coaching, and hands-on support for transitioning teams.
• Ability to navigate complex, evolving environments.
