Imagine spending your days helping customers plan, book and get excited about their upcoming holidays.

At Stay Queensland we support a growing number of Queensland hotels and resorts with their inbound bookings and enquiries.

Being a Hotel Reservations Superstar, you would be responsible for accurately and efficiently handling phone & email enquiries, processing reservations, supervising staff, and being an upbeat and professional representative for our resort brands, creating a positive experience for the guests. while supporting the rest of our growing team.

A typical day would look something like this:

• Taking accommodation reservations over the phone, email & via the internet
• Processing payments and entering bookings into the computer system
• Assisting with reservation enquiries, cancellations and amendments to bookings
• Supporting groups, corporate companies & travel agents with bookings / enquiries
• Preparing quotes based on clients’ needs
• Up-selling rooms
• Assisting with reception and guest enquiries
• Direct supervision of staff

Our ideal superstar would have:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A confident, friendly & professional phone manner
• A can-do attitude and a team player
• Excellent grooming and presentation
• A fast and willing learner
• Prior experience in the travel industry or in a similar role (working with REI Master) - highly advantageous

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced reservations or customer service rockstar.

The role is part time, Thursday- Sunday (MUST be available over weekends) during normal business.
