They are seeking an inspiring and strategic General Manager of Home Care to lead a transformational journey, building strong operational foundations while positioning the business for future growth and profitability. Role is ideally based in NSW however could also be based out of VIC/QLD.
Role
As the General Manager of Home Care, you will lead the transformation of the home care division, developing and embedding robust policies, procedures, and processes that ensure operational excellence and exceptional client experiences. This hands-on, strategic role will see you working closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and the community to build a high-performing, scalable home care service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Transform and Build: Lead the foundational build of the home care division, establishing streamlined systems and processes that enable efficient, high-quality service delivery.
- Leadership and Culture: Inspire, mentor, and empower a dedicated team, ensuring clarity around workflows, accountability, and a shared vision of excellence.
- Operational Excellence: Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training frameworks that drive consistent, client-centred service.
- Performance Management: Establish and monitor key performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and exceptional client satisfaction.
- Financial Stewardship: Drive the division’s return to profitability by optimising resources, managing budgets, and ensuring sustainable growth.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with clients, families, and community stakeholders to create a supportive, holistic care environment.

To succeed in this transformational role, you’ll bring:
- Proven Leadership: Extensive senior leadership experience in home care, aged care, or community services, with a track record of driving organisational change and improvement.
- Operational Expertise: Strong background in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and workflows that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Transformational Mindset: A visionary leader with the ability to navigate complexity, inspire change, and build high-performing teams.
- Exceptional Communication: Adept at engaging with staff, clients, and stakeholders, fostering trust, collaboration, and alignment.
- Strategic and Hands-On: A big-picture thinker who is equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done.
- Relevant Qualifications: Formal qualifications in health, aged care, business management, or a related field are preferred.
