The Client:
Our client is a highly regarded provider in aged care with a commitment to enhancing the lives of their clients through quality and compassionate home care services.
As the Home Care Manager, you will lead a transformational journey, building operational foundations while positioning the business for future growth.
The Role:
This is a hands-on strategic role that will see you working with internal teams, stakeholders and the community to build a high performing home care service. As an inspiring and visionary leader, you will shape the future of home care services and grow the current services across multiple sites; ensuring care objectives for consumers are developed and take into account their individual needs, choices and funding.
- Provide leadership and manage the day-to-day operations of the home care service
- Identify and lead strategic service improvements and growth in home care services
- Oversee operational areas including staffing, consumer care needs, physical resources and finances
- Lead, inspire and support a talented home care team in the delivery of service
- Maintain compliance with the Aged Care Act accreditation standards for home care
- Manage the financial performance of the home care service ensuring customers can access services in a cost effective manner that allows for a safe, inclusive and high quality service
- Identify, plan and organise training for home care employees
- Work with senior management to facilitate change management strategies
- Develop and refine home care policies, procedures and processes
- Lead a dynamic team and engage in quality improvements
To be successful in the role:
- Experience in the Home Care / Retirement Living sector
- Knowledge of the Home Care Packages funding and government requirements
- Excellent understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
- Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build trust, credibility and rapport across the organisation
- Possess strong relationship skills, customer service focus, be solution oriented and committed to enhancing Home Care services
- Understanding of WHS in Home Care
- AHPRA registration
- Current drivers licence and willingness to travel between sites in WA
- Covid and Flu vaccination
- National Police Clearance (within 6 mths)
