As General Manager – Workforce Management, you will be responsible for leading and transforming workforce planning across residential aged care, retirement living, and home care services. You will leverage Power BI and analytics tools to enhance workforce efficiency, ensure financial sustainability, and drive commercial outcomes.
This hands-on role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to partner with finance, operations, and senior leadership to implement workforce strategies that improve service delivery and profitability.
- Drive commercial performance using Power BI and analytics tools to optimise workforce costs and efficiency.
- Oversee workforce planning, rostering, and scheduling across aged care and home care services.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and reporting frameworks to enhance workforce effectiveness.
- Partner with People & Culture and operations teams to fill workforce vacancies efficiently.
- Establish and track key workforce metrics, providing data-driven insights to support executive decision-making.
- Optimise workforce costs, ensuring financial sustainability without compromising service quality.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Provide hands-on leadership for high-profile workforce initiatives, reporting directly to senior leadership.
Person
- 5-10 years of senior workforce management experience in aged care, health, or a complex service-based organisation.
- Proven commercial acumen, with the ability to analyse workforce data and optimise financial performance.
- Strong leadership experience, fostering high performance and accountability in teams.
- Experience using Power BI or other analytics tools to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
- Demonstrated expertise in cost control, workforce planning, and financial sustainability.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and strategic decision-making skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in aged care, retirement living, or home care sectors.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
