The Role

Centacare has an opening for an experienced Administration Officer to join our Mental Health, Counselling, and Wellbeing Services unit. In this position, you will collaborate with the administration team and report directly to the Administration Manager.

This is a permanent full-time position with the following work hours:

  • Monday, Tuesday, & Friday: 8:45AM - 5:06PM
  • Wednesday & Thursday: 11.54PM - 8:00PM

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and maintaining client records, appointment bookings, communications, and other data.
  • Perform reception duties, welcoming clients and visitors professionally.
  • Handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
  • Respond to inquiries from clients, colleagues, other services, and the community while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Provide administrative support to the Administration Manager and other Mental Health, Counselling, and Wellbeing services.
  • Handle invoicing and purchase site resources.

Your outgoing and friendly personality enables you to connect and communicate effectively with people from various cultures. As a proactive self-starter, you excel at multitasking and working efficiently in any environment.

Essential

  • Experienced in performing a wide range of administrative tasks with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independent.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer literacy.
  • Outgoing and friendly personality, adept at communication across diverse range of groups)
  • Previous experience in the non-profit or community services sector (Desirable)
