We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team at BYD Melbourne. This role requires a passion for automotive technology, especially electric vehicles, and a drive to provide outstanding customer service. As a Sales Consultant, you will be instrumental in educating and guiding customers through their purchase journey, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers on the showroom floor, providing detailed information and demonstrations of our electric vehicle range.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers and follow up on leads.
- Understand customers' needs, preferences, and budget to recommend suitable vehicles.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all vehicles, including features, specifications, and pricing.
- Provide detailed explanations and demonstrations of vehicles, highlighting key features and benefits.
- Stay updated on new models, industry trends, and technological advancements.
- Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to final purchase.
- Conduct test drives with customers, ensuring a positive and informative experience.
- Accurately record customer information and sales details in the dealership's CRM system.
- Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets and performance goals.
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing activities and promotional events.
- Coordinate the delivery and handover of sold vehicles to customers.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, fully charged, and ready for delivery.
- Provide customers with a comprehensive orientation on vehicle operation and maintenance.
- Ensure the showroom and lot are well-organized and vehicles are displayed attractively.
- Communicate effectively with finance, service, and parts departments to facilitate the sales process.
- Share customer feedback and insights with the team to improve overall customer experience.
- Work closely with the sales team to achieve targets and contribute to team success.
- Manage the sales process from initial contact through to delivery.
- Participate in promotional events and product launches.
- A demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding monthly sales KPIs
- Deliver the ultimate customer experience with a high level of professionalism and strong focus on Customer Experience Results

About You:
- Current Drivers Licence and a good driving record
- Proven experience in car sales is ideal, but if you have the passion and willingness to learn, we will support you in becoming an expert in your field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiastic about technology and sustainable solutions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends. We operate on a 5-day work week.
