About the role

We are seeking a Gardener / Maintenance professional to join our team on a full-time / part time / contract (we are flexible) basis in Kurrajong, NSW 2758. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and facilities of our acreage property, ensuring the gardens and outdoor areas are well-kept and maintained.

What you'll be doing

• Performing regular gardening tasks such as mowing, trimming, weeding, and hedging.
• Maintaining garden beds, lawns, and landscaping features
• Undertaking general maintenance and repair work on the property
• Identifying and addressing any issues or problems that arise
• Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner
• Liaising with residents as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Gardener or in a similar maintenance role or current student completing a degree in landscaping / horticulture who is genuine and keen to learn and test out their skills.
• Strong practical and planning skills and the ability to use various gardening and maintenance equipment
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Must be comfortable around and kind to animals
