NESS Super is a profit-for-member industry super fund and is dedicated to helping Australians achieve their retirement goals. Initially the fund was established for electro-technology workers however we have since expanded to allow members from all sectors including the trades industry.
As our fund continues to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and skilled Member Services Officer to join our contact centre team, providing outstanding support to NESS Super's members and employers. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing organisation, delivering exceptional service and ensuring we continue to meet the highest standards for our members and employers.
- Free on site parking available – Chullora Location
- Permanent – Full Time Role Monday to Friday (No late nights or weekend work!)
- Hybrid role after 3-6 months. (1-2 days working from home)
- Salary expectation $65,000-$75,000 + superannuation
- No super/finance experience required!
- Supportive training and career progression + gain RG146 in Superannuation

The role:
We’re on the lookout for passionate people who loving helping others and delivering top notch service. As a Member Services Officer, you’ll be the friendly voice on the end of the line, making sure our members and employers feel supported and valued every step of the way. You will be responsible for:
- Answering inbound calls from members, employers and other stakeholders
- Conducting proactive outbound calls to our existing members and employers
- Responding to email enquiries and managing web chat interactions
- Driving member retention and acquisition
- Supporting members in making informed decisions about their super
- Manage and resolve member and employer concerns and complaints
- Other as advised
About You:
You’re the go-to person who members can trust. You’ll represent NESS Super with professionalism and a personal touch. Always putting members first, you will bring a friendly, adaptable communication style that resonates with everyone you speak to. Through your experience you’ll have:
- Exceptional people and customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset
- Empathy and a genuine desire to assist others
- High level of active listening skills to understand and respond to member needs
Previous experience in financial services, in particular superannuation, and RG146 qualification will be highly regarded but not necessary.
