Our Branch Teams represent The Mutual Bank by offering in person service to the communities we serve. Being a customer-owned mutual bank, our Branch teams embody our core values of integrity, respect and care.
As a Member Service Officer, you will deliver exceptional customer service to both members and internal customers of The Mutual Bank. You’ll manage transactions and support customers with their day-to-day banking needs. Our unique approach involves building lasting and authentic relationships with our customers.
We currently have a role open for a Member Service Officer located at our East Maitland Branch.
From time to time, you will be required to work from our Maitland and Rutherford Branches.
About you
To be considered for this role, we are looking for:
- Experience in face-to-face customer service and banking is highly valued; retail or hospitality backgrounds will also be considered.
- High volume cash handling skills, with the ability to complete end of day balancing.
- Ability to learn products and services and confidently recommend them based on customer needs.
- Experience of working in line with policies and procedures.
- Good computer skills and able to navigate systems with ease.
- You thrive in a dynamic team setting but are self-driven and enjoy a fast paced and changing environment.
- A valid driver’s licence to travel between Branches.
- Tier II certification is preferred.
This is a full-time opportunity; workdays and hours are Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5:15pm, and minimum two Saturday shifts a month, 8:45am to 12:15pm.
