New 3-6 month Payroll Officer contract opportunity, suited to candidates who are immediately available or on a short notice period who have current or prior payroll experience.

This 3-6 month contract role is based in Mascot (close to public transport & parking is available) and is offering $40/hour - $43/hour + super depending on experience. This role is based on-site due to the nature of the business project.

About the role:

This exciting payroll officer contract role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll officer with approx 2+ years experience. You will be reporting into a knowledgeable Payroll Manager and also be supported by the wider payroll team.

Responsibilities:

You will be assisting with bulk uploads, payroll data entry, updating the HR / Payroll systems, payroll audits, etc. You will provide support to the Payroll Manager and assist them directly with any ad hoc tasks.

About you:

• Preferably have worked payroll for 2+ years
• Ability to interpret awards and legislation.
• Knowledge or prior experience working within a high volume environment would be beneficial but not essential.
