Your Impact:

As a full time Resource Recovery Assistant - Flyer, you will play a key role in;

  • Efficiently process donations and products in accordance with requirements.
  • Ensure internal or external customers receive excellent customer service.
  • Ensure exceptional standards of culture, quality and safety are upheld
  • Work as an integral member of the Recycling Plant to assist in the overall achievement of Good Sammy’s mission and commercial imperatives.

What you'll do:

  • Perform the delivery of flyers across various locations around Perth metropolitan suburbs by means of driving an e-trike or walking.
  • Perform the collection of bagged donations around Perth metropolitan suburbs, as required.
  • Unloading, loading and sorting of donations, as required.
  • Monitoring of e-trikes and delivery vehicle reporting of any problems regarding safety or maintenance of vehicles or equipment.
  • Ensure work areas are cleaned and maintained.
  • Participate in e-trike riding and safety training.
  • Assist in other Resource Recovery and Circular Economy activities
  • Undertake other reasonable duties as required, including those of a warehouse assistant when there are no resource recovery tasks available.
  • Perform required duties in conjunction with providing support to other staff, including those with disability, to enable them to develop the skills required to perform this role.

What you'll bring:

  • Valid C class driver licence.
  • Ability to drive a range of different C class vehicles, including vans, utes and towing/reversing of trailers.
  • Bike riding skills.
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a team.
  • Able to multitask and use own initiative.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Great physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive work activities and movements.
