Based in Leichhardt, moving to Alexandria in coming months, we are currently looking for a Junior Accountant to be a part of our finance team in a full time position. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience, work alongside industry professionals, and develop essential financial skills in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to):

Responsibilities:

• Overlooking Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Reconciliation of General Ledger
• Reconciliation of Forward Contracts with Futures and FX positions
• Maintain authenticity of General Ledger
• Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Assisting monthly management and financial reporting tasks
• Assisting in Yearly external & internal audit
• Assisting with daily cash flow management
• Ad hoc projects and business administration

What We’re Looking For:

• A recognized qualification in Accounting and/or Business.
• Computer literacy skills with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
• Attention to detail
• Quick learner and able to adapt to different situations
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to priorities work load
• Australian Citizen/ Permanent resident holder
