What you'll be doing

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
• Assisting with tax planning, compliance and lodgement
• GST & BAS Preparation: Ensuring accurate calculation, reporting, and lodgment of Business
  Activity Statements (BAS) and GST obligations.
• Payroll Services: Managing payroll processing, PAYG withholding, superannuation
  contributions, and Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting.
• Communicating with the ATO and other regulatory bodies to resolve tax and compliance-
  related matters on behalf of clients.
• Liaising with clients, financial institutions and other third parties
• Supervising and mentoring junior accounting staff
• Continuously improving processes and workflows to enhance efficiency

We are looking for someone who has:

• 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• Excellent technical accounting skills and knowledge of relevant accounting standards
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Proficient in the use of accounting software such as MYOB or Xero
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
