Our client is a well respected provider of production line Machinery servicing clients throughout Australia and New Zealand.
At this time we are looking for a Junior/ Assistant Accountant to support the CFO. On a daily basis your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Accounts payable and Receivable.
• Preparing Month end and Year end financial reports
• ATO reporting and lodgements.
• Payroll assistance
• Fixed assets register control and posting monthly depreciation journal
• Cash Flow and Bank reconciliations
• Administration of Insurances
• etc

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate most or all of the following selection criteria:

• Formal degree in accounting essential.
• Minimum 2 years’ local Australia experience in a similar role.
• Sound understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP system, previous experience in NetSuite JCurve accounting software will be an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic fast paced team.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to deliver to deadlines and work autonomously.
• Good computer and typing skills
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Understanding Microsoft office.
• Strong Commercial Acumen.
