What's on offer?
We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Site Engineer for our Water Projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business, focusing on newly awarded Sydney Water project. This role is initially based in Alexandria and transitioning to Fairfield once project begins. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. In this role you'll be responsible for:
- Foster effective collaboration and communication with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders to achieve project goals
- Undertake inspections and proactive HSEQ management in accordance with minimum Project expectations
- Develop, issue and ensure compliance with Work Packs to ensure the Project deliverables are disseminate unambiguously to the work front;
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the Quality Assurance standards established by the Project Specifications and Quality Management Plans and that records are completed with quantities and test results at the completion of each lot
- Establish a firm understanding of all Quality Assurance deliverables per the Project Specifications and Fulton Hogan Quality Management Plan (QMP); Inspection Test Plans (ITPs); Inspection Test Checklists (ITCs) ; Factory Acceptance Testing (FATs)
- Develop an over all understanding of the Project Scope and Specificaitions
- Develop a detailed understanding of the the Project Scope and Specifications that pertain to work package delegeated to you
- Develop good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as your direct team and peers
How you'll connect to the role:
- Degree level qualification in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical)
- Experience in Water utilities sectors with exposure to WWTPs and/or Networks, and associated Mechanical and Civil infrastructure would be an advantage but not essential.
- Knowledge of Safety, project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions
