About the Role

We’re looking for a Financial Accountant. Reporting to a Manager, you’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple client engagements, including working with ASX-listed companies. You’ll also be involved in capital raises, IPOs, R&D tax consulting, employee share schemes, and business structuring projects.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Assist in delivering client projects (including IPOs, ESS, R&D, and capital raises).
✅ Support statutory reporting to ASX and ASIC, including half-year and annual reports.
✅ Assist with month-end reporting, including the preparation of board papers.
✅ Handle direct and indirect tax compliance, including Income Tax, FBT, PAYGW, and GST.
✅ Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
✅ Contribute to internal projects, including developing Bio101’s intellectual property and implementing external software.
✅ Assist in financial modeling and company secretarial services.
✅ Ensure corporate governance and compliance across engagements.

Who You Are
✔ Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation Law.
✔ CA/CPA (or working towards qualification).
✔ Detail-oriented, highly motivated, and a strong team player.
✔ Comfortable working in a small team and taking ownership of responsibilities.
✔ Keen to develop expertise in the healthcare industry and capital markets.

Nice to Have

➕ 2-3 years’ experience in internal finance, audit, or management accounting.
