With buzzy, modern offices, this Financial Accountant role boasts one day of work from home weekly.

The Role

As a Financial Accountant, you will see yourself take ownership of your portfolio of stores (with room to add more) and you will essentially be a quasi “Finance Manager” for each of these sites.

This is a role that will come with excellent exposure across the enterprise and your Financial Accountant duties will include but will not be limited to:

• Liaising and business partnering with relevant stakeholders (both financial and non-financial)
• Month-end and year-end accounts closing
• P&L and Balance Sheet preparation
• Cashflow management
• BAS, IAS, Payroll tax
• Adhoc analysis and interpretation of results
• Involvement in value add projects including process/systems improvements
• Liaising with an external bookkeeping company (who handles a lot of processing tasks)
• Ad hoc duties as required

Your Background

To be considered for this Financial Accountant role you will meet the majority of the following criteria:

• Month-end reporting experience will be clearly demonstrated on your CV
• CA / CPA qualification or almost qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with all levels of the business
• Strong attention to detail coupled with a great attitude
• Ambition to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and growing enterprise
