Primary Role & Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of support to the company director
- Assist clients with general construction queries
- Data entry and general office administration tasks
- Minimum of one year administration experience (preferably within the building industry)
- Scheduling of contractors and site visits
- Raising and issuing purchase orders to suppliers based on quantified materials and labour
- Booking site construction dates and schedule meetings on behalf of the director
- Periodical evaluation of suppliers and trades invoices
- Constant interaction with director, suppliers and building contractors
- Cross check essential documents related to a specific job / project.
Primary Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment
- A positive outlook with a can-do approach with a willingness to learn
- Strong computer competency in Xero, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Gmail, Adobe Acrobat PRO
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience with having to prioritise tasks and manage workflow tasks
- Ability to identify and work through problem solving efficiently & effectively
- Trained in invoicing and book keeping
To be successful in this role, you will need to have an output-orientated attitude, good verbal and written communication skills, willingness to learn and take on challenges and adaptable to changing situations.
