Since 1995 Specialised Reline Services, SRS, has led the industry in mill relining. Based in Geraldton, WA, SRS is locally owned and operated and we provide our clients with unmatched knowledge, experience, safety, and professionalism when undertaking mill maintenance activities.

We are interested in talking to any Human Resources professionals who are up for the challenge of undertaking and coordinating Human resources activities within our business. From Recruitment, to Performance and development, Employee relations and ensuring our compliance with relevant legislation. This role will also include general office management tasks.

This role will be based in our Geraldton office Monday to Friday.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Certificate IV, Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management
- Driver’s License.
- National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
Desirable:
- Superior verbal and written skills
- Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
- Computer expertise and the ability to learn new systems. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Developed conflict management skills
Key Duties and Responsibilities.
- Responsible for review, development, improvement and execution of Human Resources related activities within the company;
- Work with the delivery team to ensure suitably qualified resources are available when needed to undertake company activities.
- Administers and maintains employee contracts.
- Interprets and applies the company’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Provide advice to payroll/delivery teams to ensure their understanding and compliance with HR policies and Legislation.
- Manage the maintenance and use of employee-related data bases.
- Oversees and administers the performance management system including performance development plans and employee development programs.
- Assists managers with the selection and contracting of external training programs and consultants.
- Overseas and manages the induction and employee onboarding.
- Maintaining training, induction and competency records, following up with employees on a as needed basis.
- Attend and facilitate employee performance meetings as required.
- Provides advice and recommendations on hiring of new employees.
- Ensures procedural fairness and compliance with policies, procedures and legislative requirements in conjunction with the General Manager to create and manage a productive, rewarding and lawful work culture.
- Conduct regular reviews of Human Resources policies for the company with regard to employee relations are in line with legislative requirements.
- Participates in the conduct of investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth.
- Advises managers and supervisors on performance management & disciplinary issues in line with company policies.
- Perform Office Administration tasks and provide administrative support across the business
- Provide support to site mobilisation processes as required
- Coordinate candidate attendance to recruitment & orientation sessions.
- Coordinating employee attendance to external training,
- Ordering and distribution of company uniforms.
- Maintain & manage office consumables and supplies.
- Perform office administrative tasks.
- Assists with the implementation of company safety and health programs.
- Any other duties as required
