About the company
My client is a leading pipeline infrastructure business that operate in the APAC region, they manufacture and supply bespoke water products into major civil projects through to local community outreach programmes of work.

About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to take on responsibility for; analysing supply chain metrics, overseeing procurement activities, managing supplier spend, ensuring efficient inventory management, and analysis of other financial metrics as required by the organisation. The role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of finance, supply chain, procurement and inventory processes, and the ability to work cross-functionally to drive operational efficiency and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports related to supply chain operations
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes by providing supply chain cost data and insights.
  • Identify trends and variances in financial data

Supply Chain Analytics:

  • Analyse supply chain performance metrics
  • Develop and implement data models and dashboards to track key performance indicators
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimise processes

Procurement Activity & Supplier Spend:

  • Monitor and report on supplier spend to ensure alignment with budgetary targets and cost-saving goals
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate supplier performance and negotiate cost-effective terms and contracts
  • Conduct spend analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement, consolidation, or strategic sourcing

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimising carrying costs
  • Work closely with logistics and operations teams to monitor stock movements and forecast future inventory needs
  • Implement strategies for inventory optimisation

Skills and experience
To be considered for the role, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • 5 – 10 years of experience in supply chain analysis, financial reporting, or procurement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with supply chain management software
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and financial modelling is a plus
