Are you a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher looking to make a difference in the lives of students? We are seeking dedicated educators to join our team and support students from Kindergarten to Year 12 in a variety of inclusive and supportive learning environments.

About the Role:

We have multiple positions available for Special Education Teachers to work with students across a wide range of abilities. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic school setting, offering flexibility with immediate or Term 2 start dates.

You will:

• Plan and deliver tailored educational programs for students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students
• Help students build independence and achieve their academic goals
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Support students with physical, emotional, and social learning challenges
• Work closely with classroom teachers and support staff
• Engage in professional development and contribute to the school’s community

About You:

We are looking for educators who are:

• Qualified Primary, Secondary or Special education Teacher
• Must hold full VIT registration & WWCC
• Passionate about inclusive education and supporting students with special needs
• Skilled in developing individualised learning plans and adjusting teaching approaches to suit diverse learning styles
• Excellent communicators and team players
• Able to adapt to a range of teaching environments and challenges
