About the role

Limitless Transport is seeking an experienced Fleet Allocator Dispatcher to join our dynamic team in Sydney, NSW. As a Fleet Allocator Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in optimising our fleet operations and ensuring the efficient delivery of goods across the region. This full-time position is essential to the strategic objectives of our growing transport and logistics company.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate the deployment of our vehicle fleet to meet customer delivery requirements
• Monitor vehicle locations and availability to optimise routing and allocation
• Liaise with drivers to provide instructions, update job statuses, and address any issues or delays
• Maintain detailed records of fleet activity
• Identify opportunities to improve fleet utilisation and streamline operations
• Collaborate with the wider operations team to enhance overall efficiency and customer satisfaction

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a fleet management or dispatch role within the transport and logistics industry
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure
• Proficiency in using fleet management software and technologies
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities
• Knowledge of relevant transport regulations and safety standards
• A customer-centric mindset and the drive to continuously improve operations
• Able to allocate same day ADHOC jobs
• Able to work unsupervised
• Knowledge of all freight forwarding procedures & documentation a advantage
