Position Overview

We are looking for a highly organised Rostering Coordinator to manage the scheduling of our support workers efficiently and effectively. This role is essential to ensuring participants receive timely, consistent care and that our team operates smoothly. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and maintain staff rosters to ensure participants receive scheduled care.
  • Match support workers with participants based on skills, availability, and participant preferences.
  • Manage last-minute changes, including shift cancellations, replacements, and emergency cover.
  • Communicate with staff regarding their shifts, availability, and any changes.
  • Work closely with the Case Manager and care team to optimise rostering efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of shifts, hours worked, and rostering adjustments.
  • Support recruitment efforts by identifying gaps in workforce availability.
  • Assist with general administrative duties as required.
  • Ensure compliance with Award conditions, Fair Work regulations, and company policies.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience in rostering, scheduling, or coordination (preferably in healthcare, aged care, disability, or home care).
  • Technology Skills: knowledge in Turnpoint rostering software (not a must) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
  • Communication: Fluent in Chinese and English speaking and writing. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with staff, participants, and management.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle rostering conflicts, adapt to last-minute changes, and find effective solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate scheduling, compliance with regulations, and efficient workforce management.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work outside standard hours when needed to manage urgent rostering changes.
