About the role

Altitude Investment Builders is looking for a full-time Maintenance & Furniture Installation Technician to join our team. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys variety in their day. You’ll be responsible for general maintenance and furniture installation, ensuring our clients' investment properties are set up and maintained to the highest standard.

What you'll be doing

• Perform general building maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting and other handyman duties
• Install, assemble and configure a variety of furniture and fittings
• Respond promptly to service requests and complete work in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and report on any issues or concerns
• Ensure work sites are kept clean, safe and tidy at all times
• Comply with all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a maintenance technician or handyperson in a commercial or residential setting
• Strong practical skills in carpentry other general building maintenance areas
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret manuals and drawings
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Reliable, safety-conscious and committed to providing high-quality work
