Administration Officer - Mandatory Training

  • Permanent, part time 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week)
  • Opportunity to work with and support a passionate and committed team of professionals
  • This position will primarily be based at Fitzroy campus.

About the Role
You will support Education and Learning by providing a high level of technical and administrative support to enhance and improve the education functions specifically in relation to the Mandatory Training program.

The position consists of two portfolios: Provide adhoc general administration services, and be a functional administrator for the unit's mandatory training and competencies program.

  • Provide administrative services for the Education & Learning Unit
  • Data entry of completed training provided by Education & Learning Educators and Trainers, including Educators and Trainers across SVHM campus.
  • Efficiently manage a large amount of information and ensure the integrity of the data to conform with hospital accreditation.
  • Resolve discrepancies in data.
  • Review and respond to queries related to mandatory training as the first point of contact.

Classifications for this position will range from HS2 - HS21 ($66,768.00 - $73,811.92 per annum).

Your Contribution

  • Proven experience in administrative roles, with a strong track record of supporting daily operations.
  • High proficiency in computer systems, with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software programs and stay current with updates.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including complex functions and data management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to assess workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possession of a current National Criminal History Check, or the willingness to obtain one.
