Due to an internal transfer, we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator for this very busy venue located in Outback South Australia.

This is a hands on role undertaking all aspects of onsite maintenance as a team of one answering directly to the onsite managers. The role would suit someone with excellent handyman and off-the-grid knowledge who loves working outdoors. The successful candidate will have experience with generators, water plants, general maintenance, and basic plumbing. Experience with diesel generators is essential and you will ideally hold a forklift ticket.

This is a hands on role ensuring the property is well maintained at all times, keeping the property running with water and power.

Outside of work, you can relax in the staff common room, watch amazing sunsets, explore the caves, visits the cliffs or just sit and relax under the star filled skies.

Package:

• $80,000 Salary

Duties:

• Undertaking all aspects of the venue’s maintenance department in a hands on capacity
• Undertaking maintenance and preventative maintenance on generators, water plants, desalination plants, general equipment
• General carpentry and basic plumbing duties
• Monitoring of fuel, safety procedures etc
• Monitoring of the power generators, desalinated water plants etc-some after hours call outs required in emergency situation
• All general grounds / maintenance around the property
• General common area upkeep
• Rubbish runs
• Work as directed by the site manager

Candidate Requirements:

• Must have strong maintenance experience
• Must have experience with Diesel generators
• Must have previous remote area experience
• Ideally have a forklift ticket
• Must hold a current Manual Drivers License
• Have or obtain prior to commencement a National Police Check
• Be willing to make a minimum 12 month commitment
