Levantine Hill has an exciting opportunity to join the team as Facilities Coordinator.
The primary purpose of the role is to take responsibility for the efficient management, maintenance and operation of all equipment, facilities and infrastructure at the Estate.
Levantine Hill is launching its newly constructed 33 room boutique hotel in the third quarter of 2025, which will also fall under the responsibility of this position.
Who you will be doing it for:
Levantine Hill is an award-winning winery and vineyard in Coldstream in the Yarra Valley, with immaculately built and maintained facilities and grounds.
The Maroondah Highway property is home to Levantine Hill’s winery facility, functions centre, cellar door and restaurant, and soon to open boutique hotel.
What you will be doing:
The facilities and grounds are a showcase for our brand. Working Tuesday to Saturday, this hands-on role will encompass maintaining the efficient operation and upkeep of the facilities, fixed assets and equipment at the Estate.
You will have experience in completing handyman and maintenance tasks on facilities and equipment, and managing contractors where specialised skills are required.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Estate's facilities including utilities, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Oversee and maintain the existing maintenance registers, contracts, manuals and records.
- Monitor and optimize energy usage and sustainability initiatives.
- Develop and manage the facilities budget.
- Erect signage with easy-to-follow instructions for machinery.
- Train and supervise staff to ensure our staff are well versed with the equipment they need to use.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
What you must have to apply:
- At least 3 years’ full-time experience successfully working in a similar role.
- Hold a full driver’s licence, have your own vehicle, and forklift licence. Residing near the Yarra Valley would be advantageous for commuting purposes.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
- Knowledge of generators, pumps, sprinklers, tanks, water and irrigation systems.
- Experience with managing tradespeople and ability to maintain registers.
- Good computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
