Our client are leading a Stonemasonry and Heritage Restoration builder in Sydney, providing the likes of Tier 1 Builders, Heritage Consultants and Government Projects with the expertise and experience that is required on sensitive and significant projects across the country.

With a wealth of knowledge and expertise across all areas of classical architecture, combining comprehensive stonemasonry services to successfully restore heritage buildings, including complete sandstone façade restoration, sandstone cladding and carving, stone fixing and pointing as well as importantly, the general restoration of heritage buildings across Sydney. Due to consistent growth and numerous recent project wins the business are now looking to strengthen their team with another PM.

Responsibilities:

• Complete assessments and prepare scope of works, estimates and/or quotes
• Prepare detailed reports
• Ensure timely delivery of projects, staying within scope and budget
• Allocate resources and ensure availability
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Make key decisions regarding project progress and resolution of challenges
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Communicate with customers and trades regarding repairs and project progress
• Apply technical knowledge to improve repair methods
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and customers
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain their reputation
• Meet key performance indicators (KPIs)

Ideal applicants will have:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Previous experience in a similar role (preferably in insurance, building, remedial or restoration) is advantageous
• Willingness to embrace new systems and contribute to business growth
• Valid open manual driver’s license
• Flexibility to work some weekends and outside regular hours
• A background in restoration or trades is highly regarded, although we provide full training and mentoring
