About the role
This iconic company is seeking an exceptional Branch Manager to lead their Homecentre operations in Mt Hagen, Papua New Guinea. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the branch, ensuring the effective delivery of services and driving the growth of the business.
What you'll be doing
- Providing strategic leadership and direction to the local team, inspiring them to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve ambitious business goals
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the branch, including budgeting, staffing, and compliance
- Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to expand the client base and increase revenue
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and the local community
- Identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities to drive the growth and expansion of the branch
- Fostering a positive and collaborative work culture that supports the professional development of the team
What we're looking for
- Extensive experience in a senior sales management or branch management role, in the furniture, whitegoods, gift and homewares or similar space
- Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and business development expertise, with a focus on driving revenue growth
- Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
