We are a small, family-owned business with an auto electrical workshop, a parts shop, an online shop and a YouTube channel (Ready To Drive Anywhere). We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality custom solutions for auto electric installations on 4WD’s, camper trailers, caravans, mining vehicles, trucks and other machinery.

The Role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Metal Fabricator / CAD Designer to assist in designing, fabricating, and assembling high-quality metal products. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on fabrication and digital design, ensuring that projects move seamlessly from concept to completion.

Tasks in this role include:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and blueprints
• Experienced working with aluminium and stainless steel
• Design and modify components using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor)
• Cut, weld, and fabricate metal components with precision
• Design and manufacture custom bracket's to suit customer requirements
• Collaborate with engineers, clients, and production teams to refine designs
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards

Our ideal new team member has:

• A passion for the automotive industry with an interest in automotive industry, 4-wheel-driving fit outs
• Proven experience in metal fabrication (welding, cutting, assembly, etc.)
• Proficiency in CAD design software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of materials and fabrication techniques
• Solid computer skills
• A passion for great customer service
• Good communication skills (verbally & written)
• The ability stay concentrated in a busy environment
• The ability to work in a team and follow procedures
