Metal Fabrication – Fabrication Welder / Boilermaker & Quality Control Officer

Botany, NSW

Pay Rate: $40 - $45 per hour (Full Time) Depending on Experience + Penalty Rates

Experience Required:

• A General well rounded steel fabricator to deal with most sectors of the industry from industrial and commercial structural steel with some residential.
• You must have a wide range of 'general' fabrication skills ranging from large structural steel members to custom design / bespoke projects.
• You must be able to work without supervision, be self-motived and organized.

We are looking for your experience to enhance and to assist with and maintaining of the company’s policies and procedures, along with task management systems. Taking leadership in the role of managing quality assurance and ensuring our IOS9001 accreditation is being held to industry standards.

Checking and logging any non compliant works before full fabrication and final check after the assemble is fabricated. You will expose and resolve fabrication errors before they escalate or arrive at site.

• Based from our fully equipped workshop in Botany, you will fabricate all projects and participate in 'on site' installations if and when required.
• You must be punctual, hard working and enthusiastic for this field of work.
• Must have a full set of hand tools. (Mandatory)

Checklist for the Interview:

• Trade Qualified min 10 years trade certified as a - Boilermaker / steel fabricator welder
• Legally permitted to work in Australia
• NSW White card
• Good organization skills backed with tidy house keeping and safe operating procedures
• Driver license and reliable transport
• Strong reference from previous employer
