About the role

Join the Nicks Restaurant & Bar Group as a Venue Manager and help lead a team of passionate hospitality professionals in delivering exceptional service and experiences to our customers. This is a full-time role based in Sydney, CBD.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee all daily operations of the venue, ensuring high standards of customer service, product quality and staff performance
  • Lead, coach and motivate a team of hospitality staff, including bartenders, wait staff and kitchen staff
  • Manage inventory, ordering and budgets to optimise venue profitability
  • Implement and monitor systems and processes to drive operational efficiency
  • Liaise with head office and other venue managers to share best practices and ensure consistency across the group
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, promoting staff development and wellbeing
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, licencing requirements and health & safety standards

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience (5+ years) in a venue management or senior hospitality supervisory role
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a high-performing hospitality team
  • Strong operational and financial management skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to anticipate and meet customer needs
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or a related field would be highly regarded
