About the role

We are seeking an experienced Venue Manager to join our team at Pearl Catering in Vaucluse, NSW. As our Venue Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our prestigious event venue, ensuring exceptional service and a seamless experience for our clients and guests. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

• Manage all aspects of venue operations, including staffing, inventory, and budget control
• Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements and deliver exceptional service
• Coordinate and oversee event planning, setup, and execution
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Maintain and enhance the venue's reputation and brand image
• Continuously seek ways to improve venue operations and the customer experience
• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of venue staff

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a venue management or senior hospitality role
• Proven track record of managing successful events and delivering exceptional customer service
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
• Strong budgeting and financial management expertise
• Thorough understanding of health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and lead by example
