About the Role:
Our client is a national food and beverage manufacturer of globally renowned brands. With sites based across Australia, their Brisbane site is seeking a Laboratory Technical Support Officer to assist with testing, validation and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment. This is a casual role, for approximately 2 months, with hours varying week to week.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Basic laboratory testing such as pH, conductivity, density and basic titrations
• Data entry and reporting
• Participate in validation projects
• Assist with identification of problems and non-conformances within the manufacturing process

Skills & Experience:
To be considered for this position, applicants will require:

• A Degree in a Science discipline
• Experience in a QA/QC role within the manufacturing/FMCG environment is desirable
• Experience operating and maintaining basic lab equipment is desirable
• A demonstrated high level of communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently
• A positive can-do attitude
• Your own reliable vehicle (this company is not located near public transport)
