We're seeking a dedicated Technical Support Officer to join our team for approximately 25 hours a week in a casual position. Working alongside industry experts, this role offers an exciting opportunity for driven individuals to excel from day one, with opportunities to expand.

As a Technical Support Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in providing exceptional service to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess previous customer service experience, technical knowhow and a proactive approach to learning. Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others are essential.

Duties

  • Provide top level customer service via chat / email and phone.
  • Help customers sign up and get connected
  • Resolve technical problems.
  • Take payments and update customer details.
  • Escalate complex technical problems.
  • Help customers connect their devices to Wifi.

Skills and experience

  • Proven strong customer service experience
  • Proven experience and capability with IT
  • Networking experience is desirable
  • Willing to work flexible hours between 8am and 10pm, including weekends
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Good customer communication skills
  • A self-motivated, positive and enthusiastic approach to delivering exceptional support
  • Capable of working autonomously, and as part of a team
  • Experience in a call centre or similar helpdesk environment is desirable
  • Speaking a language other than English is desirable but not required
