About the company/role:
Based in the north of Sydney, this well-known government contract testing laboratory is looking for a Laboratory Assistant to support technical and new development projects to expand the business capabilities within the food, health, and environmental testing market. The role is a part-time 3-month contract position.

Responsibilities include:

• Undertake sample preparation of various illicit drug samples
• Support the chemists with testing and profiling
• Assist in the Quality system of AFDL including archiving important legal paper records
• Assist the Quality officer with various quality tasks like data entry

Skills & experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in a Scientific field
• Australian citizenship is required for this role
• Experience in an analytical/chemistry lab
• Good computer skills
• Good communication and organizational skills
• High level of attention to detail
