About the Role
We are looking for a passionate payroll professional to join our clients office based in Brisbane Northside. The primary purpose for this role is to lead the payroll team, ensuring accurate timely processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.

The Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation, approval, and distribution of employee payroll.
• Oversee payroll schedules, super and payroll tax lodgements, and year-end reporting
• Monitor changes in award legislation and ensure compliance with national, state, and local regulations.
• Process fortnightly salary and timesheet payroll for approximately 800 employees
• Manage a Payroll Officer, providing training and professional development.

About You

• Must be immediately available
• Minimum 5+ years in payroll processing and leadership
• Experience with Employment Hero is desired
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience essential
