About the Role
Saint Ignatius College Geelong is seeking a Catering Coordinator to manage the College’s catering needs, maintain staff and student kitchen areas, and oversee the Student Learning Café. This is a hands-on role requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for food service.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of College catering, including food preparation and event setup/pack-up.
• Ensure dietary and allergy requirements are met for staff and students.
• Maintain staff kitchens, meeting rooms, and catering supplies.
• Assist with fundraising events and care package meal preparation.
• Manage the Student Learning Café, including barista duties and stock maintenance.
• Oversee food safety, purchasing, and compliance with catering policies.
• Liaise with external caterers and College staff to ensure quality service.
• Managing catering budgets.

About You

• Safe Food Handling Certificate (required).
• Barista experience or willingness to train.
• RSA Certificate (preferred).
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some events outside regular work hours.
