Head office location: St. Leonards, Sydney

Salary package: $180,000-$220,000 / year inc super + annual bonus

Role Overview:

  • Due to significant growth and established market share we're seeking a strategic and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead sales operations for ANZ. This 60% field-based role (NSW), involving up to 30% interstate travel, will focus on generating leads, engaging healthcare stakeholders, securing trials, finalising equipment sales, and strategically expanding our product lines to grow the business and lead market expansion. Including managing budgets to exceed sales targets and maximise profitability will be key. Urology background is highly desirable. This is an In office role twice per week to collaborate with our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Sales Strategies: Strategise and execute sales plans tailored for the ANZ region to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Hiring and managing sales staff. In collaboration with the General Manager of Operations, you will have a hiring budget allocated to recruit sales staff in designated territories and collaborate with our internal team to facilitate the hiring process.
  • In field sales role, you will be responsible for the ANZ territory assisting our sales team.
  • Regular in field sales visits, KOL relationship management, corporate partner, strategic alliance liaison.
  • Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities and expand our market share within designated territories by fostering relationships and capitalising on leads.
  • Lead Conversion and Trial Coordination with our training and sales team: Convert leads into trials, ensuring smooth trial setup and support for optimal outcomes.
  • Customised Business Proposals: Collaborate cross-functionally to create impactful business proposals aligned with client needs, emphasising product value.
  • Product Line Growth: Identify and onboard new product lines in collaboration with GM Operations that complement our business objectives, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Client Relationship Cultivation: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients and healthcare professionals to drive loyalty and repeat business.
  • Collaborative Marketing: Collaborate closely with the key stakeholders to devise and execute effective promotional strategies aligned with sales initiatives.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets effectively to exceed sales targets and maximize profitability within the designated territories.
  • Industry Insight and Compliance: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes for informed decision-making and compliance.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work with internal teams to ensure successful product implementation, including training and technical support.
  • Event Participation: Actively participate in relevant exhibitions, training initiatives and conferences to represent the company and stay informed about industry advancements.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Urology background is highly desirable
  • Minimum 5 years sales team staff management in Medical Devices
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in medical device sales management and marketing
  • Proven success in surpassing sales targets
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills across territories
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking abilities
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Existing relationships in the medical device industry is essential
