About the Role:
We are looking for a go-getter, someone with drive, proficiency, well-presented, and a positive attitude to support a busy finance brokerage on a full-time, in-office basis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build rapport with clients
• Solicit information proactively to expedite the loan process
• Engage regularly with Brokers
• Liaise with our Mortgage Brokers, Lenders, Clients, and key stakeholders
• Guide clients through the loan application process
• Process applications from broker handover to loan approval
• Assist brokers with tasks such as discharges, pricing, policy, and servicing
Key Responsibilities
- Client Meetings: Meet with clients to understand their financial situation, discuss their needs, and recommend suitable mortgage options.
- Loan Assessment: Evaluate loan options based on clients' credit history, income, and debt-to-income ratio.
- Lender Liaison: Work with lenders on behalf of clients to secure the best possible mortgage terms and rates.
- Financial Guidance: Provide guidance on all aspects of the mortgage process, including down payments, closing costs, and repayment terms.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations, including consumer protection laws.
- Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships with clients, referral partners and lenders to ensure satisfaction with our services.

About You
You are a motivated and skilled mortgage broker with a passion for helping clients achieve their financial dreams. You possess a deep understanding of loan products and excel at tailoring mortgage solutions to meet each client's unique needs. Your excellent communication skills enable you to guide clients through the mortgage process easily, and your keen attention to detail ensures accuracy and efficiency in every transaction. You are dedicated to building strong relationships with clients and partners, making you an essential asset to our team.
Required Skills
- Excel in a fast-paced environment
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant experience in a Banking/Broking role
- Excellent communication skills and dedication to setting realistic client expectations
- Strong problem-solving skills
Required Knowledge & Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking or Diploma
- Ability to self-generate business through your own network
- Satisfy responsible lending obligations and BID requirements
- Experience as a mobile lender, broker, or parabroker required

Founded in 1995 by Sam White, Loan Market is a member of the White Family Group of Companies.
The business rapidly grew through the 90's and by 2001 the company's loan book reached $1 billion.
