With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, we are expanding our leadership team and seeking a Human Resources Manager based out of our Craigieburn, Melbourne office to drive our people strategy and ensure best-in-class HR practices.
Your new role
As the Human Resources Manager, you will be a strategic partner to our senior leadership team, playing a pivotal role in shaping and implementing HR strategies aligned with our divisional business objectives. You will work across a diverse range of projects including telecommunications, renewable energy, large scale civil and plant & equipment hire.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain recruitment and retention strategies to attract top talent and foster a high-performing workforce.
- Develop HR Systems & strategies, policies, and procedures to support business objectives and improve efficiencies whilst enhancing employee engagement.
- Provide expert guidance on employee and industrial relations, including managing complex industrial agreement negotiations.
- Partner with senior leaders to drive workforce planning, talent development, and organisational effectiveness.
- Promote a high-performance workplace culture, fostering diversity, equality, and inclusion.
- Develop, implement, and perform day to day recruitment, mobilisation, compliance, and performance management tasks.
- Ensure legislative compliance and stay ahead of industry best practices.
- Lead organisational change initiatives with clear communication and structured implementation.
- Maintaining and reviewing staff visa statuses
- Responding to general employee enquiries
- Working alongside accounts regarding payroll queries
About You
- Proven experience in a similar HR leadership role, ideally within renewable energy, infrastructure, construction, or related industries.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong expertise in industrial and employee relations, workforce planning, and HR strategy.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence and coach senior leaders, driving positive workplace culture and performance.
- Adaptable and proactive, comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on HR responsibilities.
- Strong to Advanced user ability in Excel is required.
