About the Roles
We have exciting opportunities for two Contracts Advisors and one Site Contracts Advisor to join a dynamic team supporting the construction of our clients’ major projects, including the construction of a desalination plant. These roles are critical to ensuring the successful delivery of capital projects while working as part of the owner’s team.
The Contracts Advisors will be based in Perth, while the Site Contracts Advisor will be site-based, reporting to the Contracts Lead (Perth-based) and working closely with the Construction Manager to maintain smooth operations and accurate project records.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting procurement and contracting activities within our client’s governance framework.
- Developing and implementing Project Procurement and Contracting Plans.
- Preparing purchase orders, minor works orders, and raising site instructions.
- Overseeing the full lifecycle of contracts from strategy development to project close-out.
- Reviewing contractor selection recommendations and advising on awards.
- Ensuring compliance with Aboriginal engagement and Australian Industry Participation Plans.
- Processing progress claims, invoices, and preparing stakeholder reports.
About You
To be successful in these roles, you will need:
Contracts Advisor (Perth-based)
- QS experience or qualifications.
- Mining industry experience is essential.
- A degree in law, commerce, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of commercial risks in construction projects.
- Proven ability to foster strong stakeholder relationships.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a contractor, EPCM, or owner’s team role.
Site Contracts Advisor (Site-based, Pilbara Region)
- QS experience or qualifications
- Site-based experience is essential.
- Degree in law, commerce, engineering, or related field.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of construction project risks and governance frameworks.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports while supporting day-to-day site operations.
