Your New Role
Working under broad direction with a high degree of autonomy, the Senior Finance Business Partner is a pivotal and thought leadership role and is responsible for driving the provision of exceptional financial services to the University's Divisions and Faculties. This role will partner with university executives and academic leaders to provide high quality financial strategic advice to support business planning, investment decisions, preparation of budgets and forecasts, performance monitoring & analysis, financial modelling and business case development. This role is a single point for supporting financial performance monitoring for financial planning and financial decision-making for the Faculty and Divisions of the university.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Extensive knowledge of financial and management accounting practices and processes.
• Extensive experience in the provision of high quality financial & management accounting services.
• Demonstrated the ability to communicate with and influence key stakeholders in a large complex organisation.
• Demonstrated commitment to a customer service culture and business partnering for financial decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive matters at a senior level.
• Demonstrated the ability to research and prepare comprehensive reports and analysis and or other communications with a high degree of complexity for a range of audiences.
• Planning and coordination experience in a complex and time-pressured environment.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining productive working relationships at multiple levels in a complex organisation.
• Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience, or qualifications are desirable.
