Robert Half is currently recruiting a qualified (CPA/CA/CIMA) Senior Accountant / Finance Business Partner to take ownership of the financial accounting and analysis of many of our client's high-profile programs.

Initially a temporary role, this is likely to be ongoing and could lead to a permanent opportunity.

The Role

Working within a professional and dedicated finance team and having a close relationship with non-finance stakeholders your duties will include:

• Business Partnering
• Financial Modelling
• Accurate and timely production of monthly, quarterly and year-end accounts
• Preparation of monthly management reports
• Detailed forecasting (including cash)
• Grant management & acquittal
• Revenue recognition
• Budgeting
• Monthly variance analysis
• Meeting with key stakeholders
• Process improvement

Your Profile

To be successful in this role you will have worked within a large organisation partnering operational teams to deliver meaningful and insightful financial reports. Previous experience in a government funded organisation will be highly regarded.

You will have strong communication skills and ability to develop relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

You will have excellent attention to detail, be able to meet tight deadlines and have a proven background with complex budgeting systems. Additionally, you will also be required to have an advanced knowledge of Excel.
